Public Sector Economics

Public Sector Economics is a scientific journal that publishes scientific articles in the field of public sector economics - theoretical, empirical and policy analyses of the role and functioning of the public sector at the macroeconomic, sectoral and microeconomic levels, in both developed and emerging markets. It was first published in 1976 under the title Financial Practice (later Financial Theory and Practice), and since 2011 it has been published only in English bearing the title Financial Theory and Practice. In 2017, it changed its name to Public Sector Economics.

During the period of publication in Croatian, the most interesting articles were translated into English in the Occasional Paper Series edition, while some articles originally published in English were translated into Croatian in the edition Odabrani prijevodi.

The journal is indexed in Scopus, EconLit, ABI/INFORM Global, ProQuest Social Science Premium Collection, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS), PAIS Index, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and Hrčak.
