Specialist services are responsible for all general affairs necessary for the functioning of the Institute. They include legal and financial affairs, accounting, human resources, general and administrative affairs and library. This department also includes the editing services of the Institute's many publications, books and journals.
Head of library
Martina Fabris has been holding the position of Head of the Institute’s library since December 2000. She is the editor of the Porezni vjesnik and Public Sector Economics journals as well as the webmaster of the websites of both the Institute and The Prof. Dr. Marijan Hanžeković Trust. She graduated in Italian Language and Literature and Information Science (specialization in Library Science) at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, followed by a Master’s degree from the same institution. The topic of her doctoral dissertation was “The Model for Repository Building in Scientific Institutions in Croatia”.
Head of legal department
Marko Tutek has been the Head of the Section for Legal and General Affairs since September 2019. Prior to coming to the Institute, he was Head of Sector for Legal Affairs and Human Resources and Legal Advisor at Karlovačka banka d.d. Before this, between 2010 and 2014, he was a lawyer trainee at the Mađarić & Lui law firm. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and passed his bar exam in 2013.
Expert associate
Marina Nekić has been employed as an Expert Associate since July 2022. She gained her work experience through various positions in the publishing industry, public relations, organising various conferences and events, promotional activities as well as collaborating on scientific projects. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences with a degree in journalism.
