On December 3, 2024, students and professors from the University of Zadar – Department of Economics and Department of Tourism and Communication Studies – visited the Institute of Public Finance with the aim of learning about the scientific research work at the Institute.

Researchers and assistants presented the Institute's work and scope of research, sharing the unique experiences of researchers who completed their doctoral studies abroad. Their motivation to continue their scientific careers in Croatia, and the motivation and obligations of the assistants currently pursuing postgraduate studies at Croatian universities, served as a source of inspiration for the visiting students.

This visit provided the students with practical knowledge about scientific work in economics, particularly in the areas of public finance and public sector economics, thereby enhancing their understanding of the possibilities and challenges of a scientific career after graduation.
