This study aims to provide a synthesis of current knowledge and evidence on undeclared work in the EU and policy approaches to tackle undeclared work. This includes the questions whether there is empirical evidence for particularly promising intervention strategies in general and in particular to which extent the advantages of a holistic approach (in comparison to individual interventions) can be validated empirically.
