The activity included a review of available documents and regulations on professional training and the available literature, whether these are internal evaluations, scientific articles, analytical materials, foreign literature and any available document on the employment programmes that are comparable with professional training, like traineeships and/or internships. The activity also included an overview of research findings, whether related to training in Croatia or abroad or programmes that share characteristics of the Workplace training without employment (WTWE). The goal was to point out the similarities and differences as well as the results that may be informative in the context of the measure in Croatia.
As a part of the Project “Implementation of Active Employment Policy Measures” financed from the European Social Fund, Operation Programme Development of Human Potentials 2007-2013, an evaluation of participant, mentor and employer experiences with the WTWE programme has been conducted. The evaluation has been conducted by Ipsos d.o.o. in co-operation with Croatian Employment Service. Results of the evaluation (in Croatian) are available on the Croatian Employment Service’s website.
