The main objective of the project was to establish guidelines for improving the organization and further development of REGOS (the Central Registry of Insured Persons) in the Republic of Croatia based on good practice and experience of EU member states and OECD countries. The analysis included the pension systems of six EU countries - Bulgaria, Denmark, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and the Netherlands.
Based on comparative analyses of the operation of the individualized capitalized savings pension system in the EU and OECD countries as well as good practice of the work and the institutional organization of the registers of insured persons, guidelines for better organization and further development of REGOS have been developed.
