The Institute of Public Finance organizes a presentation based on articles published in a thematic issue of the journal Public Sector Economics (no. 4/2023) entitled Inflation and public finances in the 2020s which will be held virtually on 15 February 2024 from 10:00 to 11:30 (CET). 

Based on the articles published in that issue Emilia Soldani (OECD Economics Department, Paris, France) will present how sharp increase in inflation since the end of 2021 in most OECD countries made certain categories of households particularly vulnerable, and Julie Ann Q. Basconcillo (Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia) how public spending affected inflation and personal consumption in Indonesia over the past two decades.

Presentation is open to the general public but all participants are required to register in advance at this registration link.
