Our colleagues Martina Pezer, Branko Stanic and Josip Franic participated from 13 to 15 December 2022 in Bucharest in the specialised three-day regional training for members of the Regional Good Governance Public-Private Partnership Platform (R2G4P).

Participants of the training learned from experts about state-of-the-art methods on how to tackle corruption and strengthen advocacy efforts: use of big data, e-platforms, and network analysis for tracking strategic corruption; countering EU Funds fraud; efficient investigation and prosecution of illicit enrichment; methods for identifying corruption risks in public procurement and politically connected companies; and strengthening the role of civil society and the media in tackling kleptocracy.

The training was organised within the project, in which the Institute for Public Finance is also a partner, Implementing shared anti-corruption and good governance solutions in Southeast Europe: innovative practices and public-private partnerships, financed by the EEA and Norway grants.
