The Institute of Public Finance and the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb, are organizing the annual Public Sector Economics Conference: New developments in the economics of education, which will be held on September 23, 2024, at the Hotel Dubrovnik in Zagreb. The goal is to analyse emerging trends and innovative approaches at the intersection of economics and education.

Experts from numerous countries will present papers on various topics, including country experiences with educational reforms and programmes, education and labour markets, innovative approaches, job satisfaction, and educational mobility.

The keynote introductions will be given by Daniele Checchi (University of Milan) and Harry Anthony Patrinos (University of Arkansas).

The conference is open to the general public, but all participants are required to register in advance at this registration link.
