Improving the system of individual capitalized pension savings in the Republic of Croatia

The main objective of the project was to establish guidelines for the improvement of organization and further development of REGOS (the Central Registry of Insured Persons) in the Republic of Croatia based on good practice and experience of EU member states and OECD countries. The analysis includes the pension systems of six EU countries - Bulgaria, Denmark, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and the Netherlands.

Based on comparative analyses of the operation of the individualized capitalized savings pension system in the EU and OECD countries and the good practice of the work, the institutional organization of the registers of pension insured persons, guidelines for better organization and further development of REGOS have been developed.

Project duration: July - September 2018

The project is handed over to the client on September 28, 2018.
