Prof. Colin Williams
Colin Williams is a Professor of Public Policy at The University of Sheffield Management School, UK and one of the leading experts in the field of informal economy. His broad research interests are in re-theorising the nature of economic development and investigating the implications for public policy. Spatially, his interests range across the full spectrum from local and regional economic development in the UK through to the restructuring of western economies, post-socialist societies and the third (majority) world. His particular research interest is in studying the magnitude and character of the informal economy and evaluating different public policy approaches and initiatives for tackling this sphere.

Prof. Dr. Friederich Schneider
Dr. Friederich Schneider is a Professor of Economics at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz, Austria and one of the leading experts on the shadow economy with expertise of over 30 years, as well as one of the most prominent names amongst researchers in this field. His main research interests lie in the area of Public Choice/ Constitutional Economics and the Public Finance/ Shadow Economy/ Tax related areas. He has published extensively in leading Economics journals including The American Economic Review, The Quarterly Journal of Economics, The Economic Journal and the Journal of Economic Literature. He has also published numerous book chapters and books.

Prof. Dr. Adnan Efendic
Dr. Adnan Efendic is a Professor of Economics at the School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo. He has conducted several regional research projects, including projects focused on: the link between ethnic tensions and economic performance in the region, the role of BiH diaspora in economic development, strategies of survival in the time of crisis in the Western Balkan region, social capital and migration in a post-conflict environment. He has published articles in many respected international journals including the International Small Business Journal and the European Journal of Political Economy.
